As was announced today on the show, Barbara Walters will be making this year's version of her Oscar®-night Barbara Walters Special her last.
"ABC has asked me to keep doing these specials as they have been so successful," says Barbara, "and I’m thrilled we have such great stars and have such
a wonderful show for this last one -- but to be honest, I feel like I've 'been there, done that.'"

These specials have become an Oscar® Night tradition of their own, landing the biggest names in movies every year. This year's Special, featuring Best Actress nominee Sandra Bullock and Best Supporting Actress nominee Mo'Nique, will air directly before the Oscars® on the east coast, on Sunday March 7th at 7PM EST (and after the Oscars® on the west coast). This year's edition will also include a look back at the most memorable moments from the specials through the years.
For the past 29 years, the Oscar® Night Barbara Walters Special has featured such Hollywood legends as Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise, Shirley MacLaine, Sophia Loren, Oprah Winfrey, and George Clooney.
"This special has been a labor of love for 29 years," Barbara says. "I will always remember when Hugh Jackman gave me a private lap dance or sitting down with the legendary Bette Davis or being taught to tango by Al Pacino," said Ms. Walters.  "It's those priceless moments that have made this Special the Oscar® tradition that it has become, but I truly feel enough is enough."
Barbara will continue to host her 10 Most Fascinating People special annually, not to mention The View.

Madonna, daughter Lourdes partner on junior fashion line

Madonna, daughter Lourdes partner on junior fashion line Madonna is hoping to go from fashion icon to fashion mogul with her latest endeavor. The pop star and her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, are partnering on a junior fashion line called Material Girl, which will be sold exclusively at Macy's for back-to-school season, and although the clothes won't land in stores until Aug. 3, sketches were released Tuesday. The line is named after Madonna's 1984 hit song, and there are some similarities to the pop star's 1980s iteration — the (very) short skirt, the corset top, the layered jewelry. But the muse is Lourdes, or Lola as she is known, Madonna's daughter with trainer Carlos Leon. Material Girl will include apparel, footwear, jewelry and handbags, and items will range from $12 to $40. The first collection mixes hard and soft elements, "like a tutu dress and studded-combat boots, or an oversized boyfriend sweatshirt with a floral ...

Betsey Johnson Runway Show NYFW Fall 2010

Betsey Johnson Runway Show NYFW Fall 2010  Just out and hot off the runway is Betsey Johnson's Runway Show Fall 2010 Ready To Wear Collection..... NEW YORK , February 14, 2010 By Alison Baenen   Betsey returned to the runway and—to prove her performance skills hadn't dulled—made sure all the high-camp high jinks of old were in place. Kelly Osbourne, looking model thin, came out first, walking on a hay-strewn surface. She exuberantly tore off the bandanna covering her face, and…Yee-haw! We found ourselves in the Wild Wild West. Johnson's inspiration this season was, modestly, 45 years' worth of her own archives. "I'm working on my stuff, being very true-blue Betsey," she said. Her signature gun prints were there in spades, accessorized with candy-bright plastic pistols; there were striped bodysuits and tutus. The models sashayed along in groups with monikers like Banditos, Madames, and Brothelettes, usually with one among their number clad in a sweater...
